Our working relationship starts with an initial consultation/assessment where we identify strengths, areas for potential growth, and set goals together. Treatment sessions follow a play-based approach to meet those functional communication goals.
are services covered by health benefits?
Private speech and language services are covered by many extended health insurance plans. Many employers’ benefit plans provide coverage, up to a certain amount, similar to massage therapy or physiotherapy.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place in my clinic at 6105 Currents Drive NW (inside of Iconic Eye Care). Alternatively, I offer telehealth services.
how do i know if my child needs services?
Feel free to reach out for a complimentary phone consultation! I understand the needs of busy families, and I want to make sure an appointment with me is worth your time and money.
how long is a session
I typically require 60 minutes for the initial consultation, and 30 minutes for follow-up or treatment sessions.
how much does it cost?
I charge 180$ per 60 minute session and 90$ per half hour. Extra charges may apply to formal report writing or standardized assessments.
